Dragon Training

Robert: teaching him different tricks and how to fight but only when it is needed though and i would also train him to be a good dragon and not to harm other people and to be nice and freindly towards them so that the people would be respectful and nice towards my dragon too.I would also teach him some fun tricks to do so it would give him not only exercise but something fun to do too.My dragon would be the most awsome dragon ever i think.

Sherry: being patient

Tosha: by giving it treats

Kyle: showing it pretty girl dragons and feeding it Oreos when it does something right. Mmmm, Oreos. Unless he likes Cheetohs, then I will feed it Cheetohs. If it likes both then it will need to go on a diet. My dragon doesn’t need to get fat.

MJ: feeding him hot fudge sundays with hot tamamles when he does what i ask

Todd: giving it love and affection.

Cheree: feeding it chocolate covered leprechauns.

Judy: giving treets for good behavor. Works with kids

Reuben: tell him that he would have to eat salads until he get the task right

Van: letting play wii so he could see how it it done

Kristy: Petting him really softly.

Cheryl: First letting him know I won’t hurt him. I have CP (well my grandson does) so I will teach him to be kind to everyone and teach him how to give me a ride. I will feed him, pet him and take him everywhere with me. He will be my hero. Just because he looks different doesn’t mean you have to be afraid. I will help people to understand that I am a Good Dragon and I love everyone regardless of what they look like.I will be a kind caring Dragon.

Amanda: feeding him twinkies when he’s a good boy!

Aaron: feeding him chickens

Lauren: enrolling it in doggie training.

Lindsay: rewarding it with gummy bears.

Gary: The best way is to train a dragon is to reward him with a krispy kreme donut every time he does something right….you can start off with the donut holes for the small tricks and the jelly filled ones for the the more difficult tricks.

John: giving him lots of love.

Nina: FOOD REWARDS AND A CLICKER.

Van: taking him to the park

Jose: running with it, racing against it in a plane, and last i shoot fire arrows at the targets while my dragon spits fire balls a his targets

Jason: Food. Lots of food. The more food you give it during training, the less chance there is of it eating you instead.

Dalia: Feeeding him extra!!!

Lori: tickling his ears

Scott: feeding him cookies

Christian: be good with hem

Kelley: feeding him cheetos and using a reinforcement clicker. If that doesn’t work I will get a dog whistle.

Eddie: giving food and taking my dragon on walks

Eduardo: telling him what he haves to do and how and a treat at the end of every thing he dose good hope to see this movie with my kids thank you

Francisco: giving him something he likes so he can do what i tell him or show him what to do when i tell him

Theresa: positive reinforcement

Reuben: take him McDonals and then tell if he don’t get it right he will have to eat salads

Van: playing wii so he could see how to fly and the best way to breathe fire

Dave: Having him watch for great movie pass’s on advancescreenings

Gail: having my dachshunds chase him around the back yard

Marlee: CHOCOLATE!!!!!!!!!

Shelby: wearing a fire-proof suit

Kris: By showing him lots of dragon snacks and praise.

Judy: I use continuity and repitition. I practice the same commands over and over until it becomes a habit of his. By using short and simple commands that are easily understood by a dragon-it makes my job much easier. I follow through all the time, every time. He always gets a reward for positive behavior.

Warren: Living in the mountains will allow my dragon open space to fly, hunt, and remain safe. I would teach my dragon ariel tricks, like flying upside down, rolling, and flips.

Khadijah: jumping on and enjoying the ride!!!

Jhe’la: Showing him whose the boss. Yes he’s bigger and maybe even stronger. But lets face it there’s not many great pairs like me and my dragon. We’re like dreamworks and shrek. If there was no dreamworks there would’nt be any dragon 3-d. So lots of love, good food and good time is how I would train my dragon. Dragonai’ from far far away:) You can’t beat that with a stick.

Brandy: giving it alot of love and all the dumb ass prejudice people it could eat. Show him that equality isn’t a dream but a realness for us all. And then I would train him to fly me to work. Because traffic is horrible in KC!Everybody should have a chance at their dreams.

Lisa: By using goldfish crackers.

Elissa: day and night mostly

Debbie: hand signals

Chad: feeding it… people… tee hee

Casey: rewarding him with M&M’s when he does well! (It worked when potty training my kids, too!)

Heather: making it my friend.

Debbie: hand signals

McKinley: Feeding it raw steak then make it attack a peace of wood then fly

Brandon: By giving treats

Ginny: using hand signals & small treats.

Le Ann: offering some marshmallows for toasting.

George: positive reinforcement (and the occasional kick in the ass when appropriate).

Joshua: Developing a friendship.

Penny: Just expecting him to do what I say when I say it!! Just kidding. I would give him love and treats for doing good and try to give him time out if he is bad!

Suzie: I would train my dragon the way I train my kids. Teach with full instruction, expect him to do the best he can and praise him for following directions. Be firm, fair and loving above all!!

Law Abiding Citizen and Coco Before Chanel.

It is not a busy day in the DVD world with two new releases. One a high packed action film and the other a legendary tale. Out today:

Law Abiding Citizen: Clyde Shelton (Gerard Butler) is an upstanding family man whose wife and daughter are brutally murdered during a home invasion. When the killers are caught, Nick Rice (Jamie Foxx), a hotshot young Philadelphia prosecutor, is assigned to the case. Over his objections, Nick is forced by his boss to offer one of the suspects a light sentence in exchange for testifying against his accomplice.

Fast forward ten years. The man who got away with murder is found dead and Clyde Shelton coolly admits his guilt. Then he issues a warning to Nick: Either fix the flawed justice system that failed his family, or key players in the trial will die.

Soon Shelton follows through on his threats, orchestrating from his jail cell a string of spectacularly diabolical assassinations that can be neither predicted nor prevented. Philadelphia is gripped with fear as Shelton’s high-profile targets are slain one after another and the authorities are powerless to halt his reign of terror. Only Nick can stop the killing, and to do so he must outwit this brilliant sociopath in a harrowing contest of wills in which even the smallest misstep means death. With his own family now in Shelton’s crosshairs, Nick finds himself in a desperate race against time facing a deadly adversary who seems always to be one step ahead.

Coco Before Chanel: This is the story of Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel, who begins her life as a headstrong orphan, and through an extraordinary journey becomes the legendary couturier who embodied the modern woman and became a timeless symbol of success, freedom and style.

Whiteout, Pandorum, The Invetion of Lying and Gamer.

Not a great week in the DVD community. I found myself not impressed by the films coming out today, but perhaps you will find something you enjoy. Out on DVD today:

Gamer: GAMER is a high-concept action thriller set in a near future when gaming and entertainment have evolved into a terrifying new hybrid. Humans control other humans in mass-scale, multi-player online games: people play people… for keeps. Mind-control technology is widespread, and at the heart of the controversial games is its creator, reclusive billionaire Ken Castle (Michael C. Hall). His latest brainchild, the first-person shooter game “Slayers,” allows millions to act out their most savage fantasies online in front of a global audience, using real prisoners as avatars with whom they fight to the death.

Kable (300′s Gerard Butler) is the superstar and cult hero of the ultraviolent “Slayers.” Kable is controlled by Simon, a young gamer with rock star status who continues to defy all odds by guiding Kable to victory each week. Taken from his family, imprisoned and forced to fight against his will, the modern day gladiator must survive long enough to escape the game to free his family, regain his identity and to save mankind from Castle’s ruthless technology.

The Invention of Lying: In an alternate reality, lying – even the concept of a lie – does not even exist. Everyone – from politicians to advertisers to the man and woman on the street – speaks the truth and nothing but the truth with no thought of the consequences.

But when a down-on-his-luck loser named Mark suddenly develops the ability to lie, he finds that dishonesty has its rewards. In a world where every word is assumed to be the absolute truth, Mark easily lies his way to fame and fortune. But lies have a way of spreading, and Mark begins to realize that things are getting a little out of control when some of his tallest tales are being taken as, well, gospel. With the entire world now hanging on his every word, there is only one thing Mark has not been able to lie his way into: the heart of the woman he loves.

Pandorum: When two men emerge from a deep sleep in the middle of space, they discover that they have no memories of who they are and where they’re going. But their memory loss pales in comparison to the problem of the murderous warriors on board their ship who don’t want to leave anyone alive.

Whiteout: After two years stationed at Antarctica’s South Pole research base, lone U.S. Marshal Carrie Stetko (Kate Beckinsale) is as anxious as anyone to be going home. She’s turned in her resignation and is counting the hours and minutes to the last plane out. But three days before departure, a body turns up on the ice and Carrie is immediately thrust into Antarctica’s first murder investigation. As the death toll mounts, the mystery deepens with shifting loyalties, deadly whiteouts, and a relentless killer who will stop at nothing to protect a secret buried for over sixty years. Now with everyone around her packing up and getting out, Carrie must solve the crime before Antarctica is plunged into six months of darkness and she is stranded with the killer on a land where nothing comes in and no one gets out.

Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler make quite the pair in “Law Abiding Citizen”. Clyde Shelton (Gerard Butler) is an inventor with a loving family. Instantly one day changes everything. Clyde is attacked in a home invasion and his wife and daughter are murdered, while he is left as the sole survivor. When the parties involved in the home invasion are captured they are forced with a possible plea bargain. When the DNA evidence becomes inadmissible in court a plea deal seems to be the only way to guarantee justice.

Nick Rice (Jamie Foxx) is the district attorney who makes the plea deal, despite Clyde’s arguments. Clyde is disgusted by Nick’s bargaining and becomes intent on payback for the injustice following his wife and child’s murder. Ten years pass by and it comes time for the execution of one of the men involved. The death row victim does not peacefully die, rather a tragic event happens and he suffers. Obvious foul play is involved and Nick and his team begin to look for who might be implicated.

When they discover the other man involved in the murder, which was released after serving only five years, has turned up dead they quickly turn to Clyde as a suspect. Clyde is apprehended but the murders seem to continue. Clyde insists that he was served an injustice and people will continue to die, as he plans to bring the whole system down on Nick’s head.

“Law Abiding Citizen” is a sizzling hot thriller that will have you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. The film is gory and outlandish, but proves how many criminals are getting off the easy way. Gerard Butler as the devastated father was immaculate. Jamie Foxx’s stern DA performance proved to be a scene-stealer. Combining the two offered a masterpiece for cinema lovers. It’s not a logical film, but very entertaining and that’s what I like from a movie. “Law Abiding Citizen” may possibly the best thriller since “Seven”. Jump on for a thrilling ride and enjoy every twist and turn that lies ahead.

Daring and dirty...making it so delicious.

Let us focus on relationships, dating, love, sex, and lust. Who has the answers on what really makes the male and female tick? Let the battle begin as the heat is turned up in Columbia Pictures’ comedy “The Ugly Truth”. Abby Richter (Katherine Heigl) is a romantically challenged morning show producer who is searching for Mr. Perfect. Abby’s idea of a perfect man being someone who can pass her checklist and deal with her controlling ways. She’s in for a rude awakening when her bosses team her with Mike Chadway (Gerard Butler), a hardcore TV personality who promises to spill the ugly truth on what men want and what women don’t want to hear.

The duo is immediately at odds until it comes to Abby’s new love interest. Dreamy for her neighbor, Colin (Eric Winter), Abby tries to control the situation pushing the dreamy doctor away. When Chadway gives Abby pointers on how to peak her prey’s interest, Abby follows suit quickly learning these ploys of disinterest and sex appeal work. After landing a date with Colin she begins to see Chadway in a new light. Opening her up to the idea that the ugly truth may not be so bad. But is the truth worth changing who you are for someone else?

“The Ugly Truth” is a raunchy romantic comedy. This film can be enjoyed by all the men out there, a majority of them relating to “The Ugly Truth”. I found myself laughing throughout the film, from Chadway’s comical lessons to co-anchor spouses to Abby’s vibrating undergarments. Gerard Butler offered a new comedic side that paralleled well to Katherine Heigl’s uptight performance. With so many vulgar expressions the film should be targeted to the adults out there who can relate and enjoy this devilish treat. Daring and dirty…making it so delicious.

Hopefully the book is much better than what the film had to offer.

P.S. I Love You star Hilary Swank as Holly Kennedy. Holly is a recent widower who lost her husband to a battle with cancer. As she tries to regain her life, her late spouse has decided to help make it easier for her. Gerard Butler is Gerry Kennedy, the beloved late husband, who eases his widow with letters and gifts after his passing. These are delivered to Holly in many different forms and each letter has a new task that he would like Holly to complete. All the while having Holly complete these tasks; he is taking her for a stroll down memory lane.

Holly begins to start her life anew, by searching for a new job. She has good friends for support. Denise (Lisa Kudrow) and Sharon (Gina Gershon) are their for support should she need it. That is until she discovers that both of her friends are going to be having life altering changes, one is getting married and the other is having a baby. Holly finds it hard to accept her friend’s happiness while she is still searching for her own. As her final letters begin to come in, will Holly ever find her happiness?

This film had a good purpose and contained romance, but it was a little overkill. It went from soul mates to corny love story. I love romance and the idea that love is never-ending, but this film was a bore. The only fine points were when Holly was with her friends, trying to enjoy life. Everything else was so wishy-washy and unbearable to watch. Punch line should read P.S. I Love You, if you can sit through this 2 hour film and not become nauseated. Hopefully the book is much better than what the film had to offer.
