Reel Thursdays: Comedy Cowboys

All screenings are at 6:30pm at the West Wyandotte Branch of the Kansas City Kansas Public Library, 1737 N. 82nd St.  There is no charge and everyone is welcome. 

May 14th – Pardners (1956) – Jerry Lewis plays a “tenderfoot” who teams up with cowboy Dean Martin to save a struggling ranch.

May 12st – Cat Ballou (1965) – A young woman (Jane Fonda) hires a famous gunman (Lee Marvin) to avenge her father’s death, but he’s not quite what she expects.

May 28th – The Cheyenne Social Club (1970) – An aging cowboy (James Stewart) inherits property, and he and his best friend (Henry Fonda) are surprised to learn that it’s a “house of ill repute.”
