This years Pet Expo looked to be a huge success. After visiting Sunday afternoon and seeing the large number of visitors I knew it surpassed last year’s numbers. At the Pet Expo this year there were many animals to be seen. From the adoptable pets from the local shelters, rescue groups and adoption agency you definitely got your feel of pets. I saw two beautiful Newfoundlands upon my arrival and not too far away from them were full grown Mastiffs wearing donation aprons. Next door was the KC Humane Society with their pets up for adoption along with a wheel spinner for prizes. $1 donation and a chance of your choice from table prizes. They were also selling orange trash bags that were targeted at sharing your belief in spaying & neutering your pets. I had to buy these as I am a huge supporter of this. As we headed towards the front we caught the dog agility show and the cat acrobats. Boy were these entertaining for everyone. We also picked up some delicious goodies for our dogs and some sample food for our cats. All for a good cause, with donations for purchases going to wonderful groups that help out our local animals I could not resist and my pets were rewarded. It was a win-win. This year they even had horses and ponies. I know I will be back next year, can’t wait!
