Cedar Cove

I love animals and the wild life is no exception. So when I heard of a local habitat where the wild life has it’s own sanctuary I had to go. Cedar Cove is located off of K68 Highway in Louisburg, KS. Upon our arrival we paid an admittance fee of $5. After entering we were greeted by a team leader who was knowledgeable about all the animals. This person lead us around the conservatory telling us the history of each animal and unique facts. Luckily on our particular visit we were able to see the new baby wolves the habitat recently acquired. This was a great place to visit on a beautiful Sunny day. Kids of all ages will love it, but be forewarned that after a good rain the paths are pretty muddy and a good pair of shoes would be needed. If you are interested in checking out the local Big Cats let me know. I have DISCOUNTS available to send you. This discount is available ONLY the first Saturday of the month. It is $1.00 off admission for everyone in your group and an additional $1.00 off any one entree at the nearby Timbercreek Bar & Grill. If you are interested please post a comment or contact me through e-mail.
