KC’s Union Station CINDERELLA Premiere

uskc cinderella roy inman 13 x10 -KCTonight Union Station will turn blue as it plays host “castle” for the Kansas City premiere of Walt Disney Studios “Cinderella,” the live-action feature inspired by the classic fairy tale. A beautiful replica of the glass slipper featured in the film will also be on display under the historic clock in Union Station’s Grand Hall for personal photo opportunities.

The movie open to the public in the Regnier Extreme Screen Theater at Union Station on Friday, March 13 and runs through April 2.  Daily show times will be 12:30PM, 3:00PM, 6PM & 8:30PM with tickets priced at $8 for adults and $7 for children. Tickets for the 12:30PM showing are only $5. Tickets may be purchased in advance online at unionstation.org or at the Union Station Box Office. (NOTE: There will be no 8:30 pm showing on March 29th.) A live-action feature inspired by the classic fairy tale, “Cinderella” brings to life the timeless images from Disney’s 1950 animated masterpiece as fully-realized characters in a visually-dazzling spectacle for a whole new generation.

Directed by Academy Award® nominee Kenneth Branagh (“Thor,” “Hamlet”) and starring two-time Academy Award winner Cate Blanchett (“Blue Jasmine,” “Elizabeth”), Lily James (“Downtown Abbey”), Richard Madden (“Game of Thrones”) and Academy Award nominee Helena Bonham Carter (“The King’s Speech,” “Alice in Wonderland”), “CINDERELLA” is produced by Simon Kinberg (“X-Men: Days of Future Past,” “Elysium”), Allison Shearmur (“The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1”) and David Barron (“Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1”) with Tim Lewis (“Edge of Tomorrow”) serving as executive producer. The screenplay is by Chris Weitz (“About a Boy,” “The Golden Compass”).


“Cinderella” will be released through Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures on March 13, 2015.
