Cancun Fiesta Fresh
Looking for authentic cuisine straight from the streets of Mexico? The search is over when you reach the Westport area. I was down in the heart of Westport this weekend for a free concert and before heading to it I needed some dinner. We saw a quaint Mexican restaurant across the street from the Beaumont Club. Boy was I glad we spotted this place and decided to eat there. The special of the evening was a Junior Burrito sided with chips & salsa, with a fountain drink for only $7!! We ordered that and some street tacos (Authentic in Mexico) and it was some of the best Mexican food I have ever had. The tacos were Carne Asada and were amazing. Topped with fresh cilantro and lime and could not have been more zesty to the mouth.
The ambiance of this small joint was nothing spectacular, but the cuisine made up for it in every way. We dined on the patio and were able to see the entire concert across the street at the Beaumont. Only downside is that Cancun does not sell any alcohol beverages. Upside for locals is that they do deliver! I have now found my new favorite Mexican dining eatery and will be going back soon.

Oh, hell yeah! Cancun FF is my jam!
Although I’d say you might want to avoid the beef cheek tacos (ew!) unless you know what you’re doing.
I find myself craving some tacos from this place at least twice a week. And don’t be afraid of the beef cheek tacos! If you’re feeling really adventurous, try the beef tongue.
