“UP” Theater Prepares To Take Flight In KANSAS CITY

Local Theater to feature UP Balloon Treatment in Celebration of Disney-Pixar’s Newest Comedy Adventure “UP”
Promotional Winners Directed to “LOOK UP” to Find Secret Screening Location
Disney-Pixar invites local media outlets to celebrate the new family adventure UP, as the theater gets the UP treatment, anchoring dozens of gigantic, colorful, helium-filled balloons, just like Carl Fredricksen’s house does in the movie.

SECRET LOCATION: Ticket winners of local film promotions have been challenged to “LOOK UP” to find the location of the pre-opening screening on Wednesday, May 27th. Promotional partners will be giving clues to the theater location throughout the day.
“Up” is a hilarious story about Carl Fredricksen, a 78-year-old curmudgeon who dreams of a great adventure—from the safety of his home—that is until the balloon salesman ties thousands of balloons to his house and flies far, far away. Bring on the adventure.
Opening May 29, 2009, UP will be presented in Disney Digital 3D in select theaters.
