Girls Night Out at the K
The Kansas City Royals hosted the first Girls’ Night Out event of the season on Thursday, May 14. The event, focused on “Food, Fashion and Fun,” was presented by the Country Club Plaza and precedes the Royals 7:10 p.m. game against the Baltimore Orioles. Proceeds from the event benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure Kansas City. On hand before the game was Beauty Brands, Green Beauty Salon & Day Spa and Touchwork of Weston to pamper guests with chair massages, mini spa services, face mapping and hairstyle consultations. The first 10,000 ladies through the gates received a free Royals cap courtesy of the Country Club Plaza. Depending on the package you purchased most ladies received a Royals charm bracelet.
It was a great evening out and experiencing the new stadium was breathtaking. The stadium provides something for everyone now. A bar to hang out in and watch the game and grab a bite. A kiddie area filled with tons of activities and so much more. I enjoyed my first Royals game of the year with some great girlfriends, with another Ladies Night event being held in September I can say I will most likely partake.
