Red Ball Gives Back
Last night was a ball, Red Ball that is. The Sprint Center in downtown Kansas City, MO was transformed into a dining and entertainment extravaganza. Everyone came out dressed up for the black tie event in support of the American Red Cross. The event started out with a cocktail hour from 6:30pm – 8pm. We were greeted upon arrival with champagne spritzer. One of the best drinks I have ever had. Shortly after our arrival we were served a sit down dinner with three courses. The evening concluded with entertainment from disco diva Gloria Gaynor, best known for her hit “I Will Survive” ending with a Motown performance from the KC All Stars. It was an exciting evening filled with dinner, dancing and donations. All together from the live auction the American Red Cross received $37,000. American Red Cross offered a great evening for the support of others. This was the second year for the event and hopes for a third were wished by all.
