Westport Flea Market
Just off of Westport Road and east of Southwest Trafficway you will find an amazing little bar & grill with the best burgers in town. The burger joint sits inside a flea market shop and will have you salivating for more. I visited the burger joint on Saturday after 8pm and the bar & grill was mildly busy at this time. I ordered the flea market burger with cheese and grilled onions with an order of cheese fries. We took a seat at the bar ordered a couple drinks and awaited our name to be called when our order was ready. Once called we dressed our burgers up with all the goodies offered. My burger was cooked just right and was very delicious. The taste is still one of the best burgers I have ever had. The cheese fries were amazing, curled fries and lots of cheese. I have not been to the Flea Market in three years since my most recent visit, and I find myself wondering why I don’t visit more often. This is an excellent burger joint in the Kansas City area and you definitely have to eat here. They also have live bands on Friday nights, along with karaoke Saturday evenings. I’ve heard they have one oft best burgers but everytime I/we are around there burgers are not what we go for. I hear that some of the best rated burgers now (unhealthy but good I guess others say) are 5 guys(burgers and fries) have really good burgers (never frozen. ) I might try one especially because you can pile on any of the 15 condiments you want.
